COMMERCIAL CONTENT PARTNERS

Terms & Conditions

Version 30 October 2026 (revision 2). These terms apply only to new proposals that expressly link to this version. Agreements already accepted under earlier versions remain unchanged.

1. Who you are buying from

Commercial Content Partners (CCP, we, us) is the trading name of Joe Graves, a sole trader. Our correspondence address is 1 Alma Court, Fulford, York, YO10 4DB. Email: [email protected]. We are not VAT registered and do not charge VAT.

A business customer buys mainly for their trade, business, craft or profession. A consumer is an individual buying wholly or mainly outside those purposes. A sole trader buying business marketing can be a business customer.

2. Your agreement

Your proposal identifies the customer, service, deliverables, price, payment schedule, delivery arrangements and any recurring commitment. These terms form part of it. Read both before accepting. We will make any agreed special terms clear in the proposal. Mandatory consumer rights always apply.

The agreement is formed when you accept our authorised proposal through the signing page before its expiry. Your electronic acceptance records your name, signing capacity, the agreement and its acceptance time. A copy will be provided by email. Acceptance commits you to paying the stated price, subject to any cancellation rights below. Acceptance does not itself collect a payment.

A change to scope, price or timing requires written agreement by both parties. New terms on our website do not retrospectively change an accepted agreement.

3. Prices and payment

One-off projects are payable 100% upfront before work begins. Monthly services are payable in full before each service month. The proposal states the total price, any recurring price, billing dates and permitted payment method. We will not add charges without your agreement.

We reserve production dates after the agreement is accepted and the required payment clears. Where a date is essential, agree it with us before accepting. If payment is late, we may pause unstarted work after giving written notice and a reasonable opportunity to pay. We will explain any resulting schedule changes.

Confirmed business bookings: Full upfront payment confirms a firm booking. If a business customer later cancels simply because they have changed their mind, no automatic refund is due. Section 8 explains how we assess any amounts that we may lawfully retain. Consumer statutory rights are unaffected. We do not charge VAT.

4. Scope, delivery and customer input

We will provide the agreed services with reasonable care and skill. The proposal states what filming, editing, planning, formats, quantities and delivery dates are included. Extras, travel costs, additional filming, posting, advertising spend and third-party purchases are included only where stated.

You will provide the agreed brief, accurate information, feedback and access in time for the schedule. You must have authority to supply materials you ask us to use. We will agree who arranges location access, participant permissions and any specialist licences before filming.

We will tell you promptly about delays and agree revised dates where appropriate. We will not treat silence as approval. Where delay prevents delivery on an essential agreed date, we will discuss an appropriate remedy, including cancellation and refund for undelivered work where required.

5. Reviews and changes

Unless the proposal states otherwise, two consolidated rounds of revisions to the agreed brief are included. A round means one collected set of feedback on the version supplied.

Corrections needed because our work does not meet the agreement do not use up those rounds. A changed brief, additional deliverables or customer-requested reshoots may require a new price and schedule, which we will agree before proceeding.

You should review factual statements, names and supplied business claims before publication. This does not remove our responsibility for our own errors.

6. Rights to use content

Once the agreed fees are paid, we grant you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, publish and adapt the final deliverables for your own personal or business purposes, including your website, social media and paid advertising. You may allow your suppliers to handle the work on your behalf.

Unless expressly agreed, copyright is not transferred and raw footage, editing projects, templates and working files are not deliverables. We will identify any third-party material with separate licence restrictions before you approve its use. You retain ownership of materials you supply.

We will only feature your work, name, likeness or testimonial in our portfolio or publicity with your permission. The proposal must identify any separate hosting/access period for an online content board; it must not imply indefinite hosted access.

7. Monthly services

The proposal must state the monthly deliverables, start date, billing date, minimum commitment, renewal arrangements and how to end the service. There is no assumed minimum term hidden in these terms.

Where the proposal states no minimum term, either party may end the service by written notice before the next service month starts. The current paid month will be completed, unless another arrangement or a legal cancellation right applies. We will not change a recurring price mid-period without agreement.

8. Firm business bookings, cancellation and postponement

Business customers: A confirmed one-off booking is a binding commitment, with the price payable in full upfront before work starts. Once we reserve production dates or capacity and commit resources to your project, cancellation for convenience does not automatically entitle you to a refund. We may retain or recover a reasonable amount to cover work already supplied and losses directly caused by the cancellation, including non-recoverable supplier commitments and production time or profit we cannot reasonably replace. We will take reasonable steps to reduce those losses, will not recover the same loss twice and will explain the calculation if you ask. Any payment above the amount we can properly retain or recover will be refunded. We will not retain or charge more than the agreed contract price for cancellation.

Moving a booking: Please contact [email protected] promptly if you want to cancel or postpone. A replacement date is subject to written agreement and availability. We will tell you about any unavoidable, reasonable additional costs before agreeing the change.

Consumers and CCP cancellations: The rights in section 9 and any other mandatory rights are unaffected. If we cancel and cannot agree an acceptable alternative, we will refund amounts paid for services not supplied, without limiting any further remedy to which you are entitled. Nothing here prevents cancellation or a remedy where we breach the agreement.

9. Consumer cancellation rights

If you are a consumer entering a qualifying online, distance or off-premises agreement for services or digital content, you normally have 14 days after the day the contract is made to cancel without giving a reason.

To cancel, send a clear statement to our email or postal address above before the period expires. You may use the separate optional consumer cancellation form (consumer cancellation information and optional form), but do not have to. Where the law gives a right to cancel, we will refund money due without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving your cancellation, using the original payment method unless you agree otherwise, without a refund fee.

We will normally wait until the cancellation period has ended before starting services. If you expressly request an earlier start, and receive the required cancellation information, you may have to pay proportionately for services supplied up to cancellation. Your right to cancel services ends on full performance only if you gave the required advance request and acknowledgement.

For separately supplied digital content, such as a downloadable plan, early supply requires your separate express consent and acknowledgement that your cancellation right will be lost when supply begins. We will confirm that consent in a form you can keep. Without the required agreement and confirmation, we will not rely on loss of that right.

These rules do not remove rights concerning faulty content or services. We will not apply a general 'custom-made means no cancellation' exclusion to services or downloads.

10. Problems, responsibility and events outside our control

Tell us promptly if something is wrong so we can investigate and put it right. Consumers retain their statutory rights, including applicable rights to repeat performance, a price reduction or remedies for faulty digital content.

We do not promise a particular number of views, enquiries, leads, sales or platform rankings. We remain responsible for the work we agree to deliver.

Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or anything the law does not allow us to exclude.

If an event outside our reasonable control affects delivery, we will notify you, take reasonable steps to limit its effects and discuss alternatives. You may cancel the affected undelivered work for a refund if we cannot agree a reasonable alternative, without losing any statutory remedy.

11. Confidentiality and personal information

Both parties will protect confidential information received for the project and use it only for the agreed purpose, except where disclosure is authorised or legally required.

We use customer information to administer the agreement, communicate, deliver services and keep necessary records. Further information about personal information is provided separately. Where a project involves processing personal data on a customer's instructions, any required data-processing terms must be agreed before that work begins. These terms are not a substitute for participant permissions or a privacy notice.

12. Complaints and applicable law

Send complaints to [email protected] with your proposal reference and the outcome you seek. We will acknowledge them promptly and work with you to resolve them.

English law governs this agreement. Business disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales. Consumers keep any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings in their home jurisdiction that apply to them.

For qualifying purchases made by private individuals, consumer cancellation information and the optional model form (consumer cancellation information and optional form) are available separately. Business customers do not need this form.
